SLA Road Cleanup Fall 2024

We hope you had a good summer—its been a wet and green year for the most part. Before the snow flies—it is supposed to snow more normally this year—we need to pick up all the things that have landed on the shoulders of our roads surrounding the lake. Beer bottles, pop cans, and much more.

Please join us for the Siseebakwet Lake Association Fall Road Cleanup; Saturday, September 28th, 9:30am at the Sugar Town Hall (20878 County Road 459)—a warm fire, a hot beverage and a homemade treat will be provided to get you started. We’ll also have trash bags and safety vests for you to use. Feel free to bring your own work gloves.

As always, for those of you early birds, who want to claim favorite stretches of the road, feel free to drop us an email at bad@hagenbuck.com and we’ll mark you down. Hopefully, the grass will still be green, so if you feel inclined to pick up what you see now, while you’re walking around the lake, please do—it’s always a good day to keep Minnesota beautiful.
